Leave hills areas immediately

The Kamrup metro district administration has asked all illegal settlers in the hills areas to immediately leave their places to get rid of the recurring landslide problems where 4 people were killed on Friday wee hours.

The decision was taken after the Kamrup metro district administration held a meeting with chief minister Tarun Gogoi on Sunday evening.

The  district administration has already identified 376 vulnerable areas in the hills areas in Guwahati. If ned be, the chief minister has asked the district administration to set up refugee camps.
