Chakrabartty, Deka on visit to Uriamghat

BJP MPs Bijoya Chakrabartty and Ramen Deka are on a stock taking visit to Uriamghat on Tuesday a day after the angry people heckled Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi.

Immediately after arriving the relief cams, Chakrabartty and Deka talked to the camp inmates and expressed grave concern over the attack by the Naga miscreants where at least 15 people were killed and over 50 houses where set on fire.

The duo further talked to the top ranked civil and police officials who have been monitoring the entire situation along the Assam-Nagaland border.

Notably, angry camp inmates heckled the chief minister on Monday when he was on a stock taking visit to the troubled torn areas.
