NDFB-S militant killed

Security forces claimed to have killed a hardcore NDFB-S militant at an encounter in Kokrajhar on Thursday.

The incident took place at Aaodang bazar when two armed militants started indiscriminate firing at a joint team of police and army jawans.

When retaliated with firing, one of the militants died on the spot while another sustained serious injury.

Later police claimed to have seized three greandes, a bike and two mobile phones from the encounter site.
