The Election Commission is all set to announce its Lok Sabha poll schedule on Wednesday.
According to sources, first phase of the general election is slated for April 7. The entire exercise will be conducted in seven phase.
The Commission is expected to hold the Lok Sabha phase in Assam in two phases from April 7. The model code of conduct will also come into force from Wednesday.
