AIUDF made it plain on Tuesday that the party will not forge any alliance with Congress for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
Addressing a press conference in Guwahati, party president Badaruddin Ajmal said that the party will consider poll pact with AGP if the regional party avoids understanding with BJP.
He said that the party will field strong candidate in Koliabor to beat Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi’s son Gaurav Gogoi which is set to be fielded by the ruling party.
Ajmal further blamed it all Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi who is holding the home portfolio, for the volatile law and order front situation and said that Gogoi should leave the portfolio.
