KMSS activist condition critical

A KMSS activist is battling for life at GMCH after he made an abortive self immolation attempt in Dispur opposing land patta distribution in Guwahati on Monday.

According to GMCH authorities, identified as Pranab Boro from Gorchuk area in the city is undergoing treatment after he was rushed to it with 100 per cent burn injuries. His condition is critical.

The incident took place at 10-30 in the morning in front of the State Secretariat where Boro set himself on fire after pouring kerosene as part of the massive agitation on land pattas for the land less lot in the city.
