KMSS is all set to go for a massive agitation on Monday across the state demanding land pattas.

The peasant body leaders told Assam Times that thousands of people will throng Guwahati from early in the morning to intensify the stir.

They said,”we will not care even an iota to police firing and lathi-charge during our massive agitation for the landless lot.”

This has forced the Kamrup(metro) district administration to make an elaborate security arrangement in the city to deal with any eventualities.

Bamboo barricades are being brought to the city in many public places to prevent the protestors. The government has already shifted the land patta distribution venue from Ravindra Bhawan to Sankardev kalakhetra apprehending law and order situation.
