Hawkers call off strike

Sigh of relief for Guwahatians. The hawkers have temporarily called off non cooperation. From Monday morning they would resume distribution of news papers. Addressing a press conference at Guwahati Press Club on Sunday, they said that they agreed to resume their duties at the initiative of KMSS.

But they made it simple that they won’t withdraw their demands before the agents who have been refusing 35 per cent commission.
