2 NDFB-S militants killed

Security forces claimed to have killed two more NDFB-S militants at an encounter in Chirang district on Thursday.

The encounter between NDFB-S and security forces took place at Phulbari along the Indo-Bhutan border where both the militants were killed on the spot.

Later they were identified as Bipul Narzary and Punkha Basumatary. Police further claimed to have recovered pistol, magazine, hand grenade along with extortion notes from their possession.
