Chance for Manas Bora

Congress is likely field its youth leader Manas Bora from Guwahati in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

Bora, the son of social welfare minister Akon Bora was elected as the number one aspirant after he polled over 400 votes in the election by the party workers held on Wednesday in Guwahati.

Next to Bora is Juri Sarma followed by Bobbeta Sarma. AICC observer told Assam Times that Bora’s name would top the panel of candidates for Guwahati.

For the first time, the APCC conducted the poll among the ticket aspirants under the instruction of Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi.
