Narendra Modi’s speech in the Khanapara rally seems to have drawn mixed response form the political parties.
Senior BJP leaders have called it an illuminating. But Congress, Left and AGP leaders have found nothing notable in the 50 minute long speech by the BJP’s prime ministerial candidate.
Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi told reporters in Sivasagar that this speech might pull hug crowd. But it was not the key to woo the voters.
AGP leaders told Assam Times that the Gujarat Chief Minister hardly touch a few burning issues confronting the state for decades.
The Left camp equally is not comfortable with the speech. Talking to Assam Times, a Left leader said that Congress and BJP are two side of a coin in terms of poll promise and governance.
