Waiting for Modi

Guwahati is gearing up to receive Narendra Modi who is holding a huge rally on February 8.

Veterinary Playground in Guwahati turns into a security hub where the BJP’s prime ministerial candidate is scheduled to address the rally.

“We are leaving no stone unturned to make this rally a grand success,” a BJP leader told Assam Times adding that over 30,000 people are expected to attend the rally.

“Much to our pleasure, a number of distinguished personalities are also expected to attend the day long rally,” said the BJP leader who hoped that Modi’s speech would boost the morale of the party in rank and file.

Notably, Modi is set to revisit the state twice in this month. On February 20, he is scheduled to address another huge rally in Silchar.
