Mesmerizing procession

Dressed in traditional attire, thousands of people in Guwahati took a huge cultural procession in the city on the last day of the Asom Sahitya Sabha’s special session on Monday.

Led by Sabha president Imran Shah, the 7km long colourful procession took off from the Rudra Singha Sports Complex and covered the entire city mesmerizing the Guwahatians in the morning.

Students from the various schools and colleges were also seen participating in the procession much to the delight of the Sahitya Sabha officials. The session is set to end on Monday after the cultural function in the evening.
