Sensational revelations have come to light after the powerful grenade explosion severed hands of Raju Ali in Sivasagar town on Tuesday.
Ali told police that he saw two motorcycle born youths lobbed the grenade at him. But according to sources, he was an army informer and he kept some explosives inside his home in BG Road near the Station Chariali. Notably, crude bombs were found in and around his residents at regular intervals.
The explosion took place at his house at around 11 in the morning. Ali’s hands were severed under the impact of the explosion.
Later security forces recovered one more crude bomb inside his house. Ali was rushed to the Assam Medical College Hospital.
