ULFA men in the city!

Despite heavy deployment of security forces, Guwahati turns into a safe haven for dreaded militants who can carry out subversive activities in the run up to the Republic day celebrations.

According to inputs available with police, two hardcore ULFA militants are believed to have entered into the city to strike on the Republic Day. Both they were identified as Bapan Das and Nayan Rajbanshi who have managed to reach the city at the instance of Drishtri Rajkhowa.

Police have already published their photograph to help the Guwahatians identify the militants.

Notably, Dispur police on Tuesday captured a hardcore ULFA cadres from Rukmininagar area in the city and seized a detonator from his possession.
