Foundation stone of road after Amarjyoti Arandhara
Dillibari Gaon Panchayat, under Tingkhong development block has laid the foundation stone of gravel road in the Amarjyoti Arandhara, the secretary general of Tai Ahom National Council on Monday at Ghahi Pathar, under MNREGA scheme. The total length of the road will be 6.5 kilometer and it will cost about 4 lakh. In this occasion, the President of the Gaon Panchayat, Dipti Koch, the Prasanta Nayak, the member of Dillibari Anchalik Panchayat, and other officials of Tingkhang Development Block Present.

On yesterday evening, at Laxmijan stone quarry under Nazira police station of Sivasagar district, Urmila Khatun (29) and her three years son Mejajin Ali died on spot in a stone quarry mishap under 6no quarry of his Mahadev Kurmi is the contractor.
