Azara case: Victims hail from Bongaigaon

The identity of the two girls---believed to have been raped and kill in Azara seems to have surfaced. Two families have rushed to Azara police station to identify the bodies of the two girls who have been missing from Bidyapur in Bongaigaon from October 22. The names of the two girls are believed to be Jonali Rabha and Dalimi Boro.

One more held

Police have picked up one more youth in connection with the Azara case where two unidentified girls were gangraped and murdered in the outskirt of the Guwahati city. The youth was picked up from his home near the Borjhar airport.Interrogation is going on in Azara police station and later he is likely to be taken to the Panbazar police station for further interrogation. Police have refused to divulge the name of the youth who is learnt to have known the girls. On the other hand, the four accused woule be produced before the CJM court in the afternoon seeking police remand.
