Motorcycle thieves arrested at Nazira

Nazira police nabbed a gang of motorcycle thieves at Bihubor. According to the police Bubu Gogoi, Toilukya Urangia, Gobinda Gogoi and Beki Gogoi of Namrup Avaypuria gaon are running a car sumggling busines in upper Assam. Barboruah Police station, Dibrugarh has already recovered a land cruiser and a pulser motorcycle from this gang. 

Another car smuggling gang was busted few days back and its leader Mohan Mech were arrested by the Nazira police at Gelakey.

Gas is leaking from ONGC's GGS no. 3 at Gelakey-Athkhel in Sivasagar district which is creating panic in the sorrunding areas. The Freelance journalist association of Nazira has informed ONGC and the Gelakey police station.

The programme was organised under the "Mukhya mamtrir Sunali Soishab Prakalpa - Surokhayat sishu, surokhayata Axom yojona" by Nazira Mohkuma Mahila Sommittee and the Pragati.
A two-days-long 15th annual conference of the Sivasagar district All Assam Students Union (AASU) was held at Maut Gaon, Simaluguri on on January 4-5. The new executive committee  was formed in this conferance with Samiron Phukon became the general secretary and Ashim Dutta as the new president. Members of Nazira Anchalik AASU Unit walked out from the repeesentatives meetings due to the internal disputes.
