Achievement likely for Manish

Another Assam youth Manish Kumar Deka is likely to climb the great mountain on Sunday. Deka would be taking a shot at the summit.
The new achievement is set to strike a day after Tarun Saikia created history by becoming the first Assamese to conquer Mt Everest.

Tarun Saikia hailing from Guwahati had scaled the highest peak at 5-30 am on Saturday along with five others. The six members group comprised of a class XI student of Manipur, Nameirakpam Chingkheinganba; a mother of Arunachal Pradesh Ansu Jamsepa; David Zohmangaiha of Mizoram; Wangsuk Myrthong of Meghalaya and Kazi Sherpa of Sikkim.
