Guwahati: State BJP leadership have hunkered down in Guwahati on Friday to hammer out a slew of strategies for the upcoming Assembly polls due in April.
Attended by Narendra Singh Tomar, Jitendra Singh, Baijayanta J Panda, CM, Ranjit Das and Himanta Biswa Sarma, the meeting discussed the fate of a few party veterans and they options lying ahead to exploit the advantage.
Former Union minister Rajen Gohain and MP Ramen Deka also attended the meeting were the leadership were believed to have tried them to convince the effective poll strategies.
The due were strong contenders for tickets to contest the polls while the party leadership are indecisive on their fate.
