Accompanied by APCC president Bhubneswar Kalita, the chief minister met Gandhi at the AICC headquarters at 4-30 in the afternoon and the discussion lasted for nearly an hour. Apart from the Lok Sabha poll preparedness, Gogoi and Kalita are believed to have appraised Gandhi of the dissidence within the Congress legislators. Gogoi, who left for the national capital on Tuesday called on AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh at his residence in the evening and the duo talked dissidence. Led by former MP Kirip Chaliha, five dissident legislators aired their grievances before Singh on Monday.
