Nazira police headed by SDPO Ashif Ahmed nabbed one Deep Hazarika from Babupatty area of Sivasagar on charges of blackmailing and demanding rupees 5 Lakh from an officer of ONGC, Lakuwa. Deep alis Ainul the main accused lead a 4 member gang to carry the activity. Three members of the gang, Hiramoni Gogoi, Korobi Das and Partho Protim Borah have also been arrested by the Police.
