3rd EMFA Awards in January

The 3rd EMFA Media Awards 2012 will be organized in the last week of January 2013, where a senior journalist with national fame will be felicitated. A general meeting of Electronic Media Forum Assam (EMFA), held today at Guwahati Press Club, has also formed an organizing committee for the award function. The meeting has reiterated the date of submission for the entries in various sections on January 10 next. The entries must be telecast through the television channels within 1st January to December 31, 2012. The organizing committee includes Hemanta Hillol Saikia, Sunil Borah, Pankaj Bora as conveners, Lalit Sarma as the coordinator, Musumi Bora, Pankaj Pratim Dutta, Siddhartha Sankar Nath, Manoj Kumar Deka, Tanmoy Borkotoky in-charge of souvenir TARANGA, Debajit Talukder, Prasanta Mena, Agnibh Gogoi, Prabin Thakuria, Pranjal Sarma, Madhav Das, Manas Pratim Nath, Pranab Das, Pankaj Sarma as honorable members. The committee will take appropriate decisions about the function, selection of the juries and also the invitees, stated in a press release of EMFA.
