PM, Sonia to visit Assam on Monday

Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi are scheduled to visit the state on Monday to take a stock of the situation.

According to information, the duo would make an aerial survey across the state during their hurricane visit to the state.

Meanwhile, a member of the National Disaster Management Authority on Saturday visited flood affected areas and took stoke of the situation.
