are we gone to get back those fame and name. The bandh culture has much effected the place and people of the district. Especially the students of this particular district. How can one give 100hrs of bandh in the district? Only thinking for the political issues will not solve the problems, it much to be focus on the education field. I say that the people of this district is such a fool educated people living here. There is no sense of any cause that affects the life of the students as well as the poor villagers. It may be of any organization or group that demands for bandh culture. Don’t do these organizations and groups from various backgrounds think for the betterment of the education system??? As freedom to speak and write against the govts. and their servants-I say the present Deputy Commissioner of the dima hasao district is not heeding any responsible for the development and maintaninance of peace in the district. He is not capable of handling the situation of the district and no sign of any betterment in the district is seen in his term of administrative posting. The DC should be transferred from the district and demand for the better and responsible who can handle and perform the constitutional duty. Even the DC had not even thought once what will happen and how it will affect the students of districts of both the colleges and schools? He is granting any number of demand for bandhs in the district to any number of organizations. This shows how the administrative body is such an irresponsible towards the future cause of the land and people. The people of district should focus more in the development of educational sectors and land. I see the haflong is not a haflong anymore that I saw few years back. The roads, the markets and the areas are worse than it was before. It is a pity to mention here that due to the insurgency in the district has much affected the life and people here. Till now no organization has approached for any educational developments with new colleges and institutions in the districts but always come forward with unnecessary issues and corruptions path. This shows how the educated people are not concern to take active part in the demand process and encourage the younger generation to accelerate the importance of education in todays world. The BANDH culture should be band in the district as soon as possible..weather it may be for any organization demanding for bandhs. There is other way to achieve their demand not by BANDH culture . The district should learn a lesson from the south indian states. No bandhs in the whole of the year-365days working day where as in district is 40days working and rest of the days barks for useless issues and bandhs. Follow the good example don’t create bad example.
