Battle of Titans with 'Political' touch

As everybody knows that this high-voltage is nothing less than "final" when 2 arch rivals are playing face 2 face ! The presence of 'political heavyweights' of both the country only adds to the already building-up pressure on players of both the team 2 perform well beyond own capacity !

Its all about the mind-game in the penultimate season of the game, where Dhoni coolness matters more than his game and at the same time Afridi 'bats' will do better than his 'spin'. The home-team advantage as well as pressure is always more. The situation is more difficult when nation is playing the 'game' too beyond the pitches !

Finally, in the end no good or bad team/performance matter nor there should be any 'patriotism' beyond game ! And those nerve will be in control , the team will not only reaches final, but can emerge as clear Winner too !!!

--Not Cricket Anymore, it’s the game of Bookies-- Things have changed a lot since 1983. Now it is not cricketers, but bookies who decide results. When will the common man realize this reality? A section of Delhiites came to know that India will score 261 in the semi-final match at Mohali. Indian people are receptive of western products. So the Indian cricketers are good models for MNCs. Since last November, India is seeing the arrival of a chain of world leaders and signing business deals. Once India wins this already fixed world cup, the cricketers who will also double up as models will rule the psyche and choices of Indian masses. Pakistan is not such a huge market for US, Russia, China, France and all presidents and prime-ministers who have been visiting since November, 2010. Morever, unlike Indian cricketers, Pakistani players donot enjoy so much million pay packets from advertisements as the Pakistani masses are not as receptive and open to western MNCs as Indians. So, at least two Pakistani players are always sold out. And mind you, the bookies are always Indian businessmen who swim in billions. The PM of India very well knew the result. It was all arranged. Come on India, come on Indians, don’t be so much in awe with cricket matches anymore. The age of cricket is over. This is the era of bookies. Just as cinema is a constructed reality, so also is 21st century cricket. There should be ‘best actor’ awards for cricketers for they really make people believe that they are under no influence. Cricket is business, it is no longer a game. When will the Indian overcome false illusions about cricket matches!
