ULFA's anti-talk faction calls a 24 hour statewide Assam bandh in protest against Prime Minister DR Monmohan Singh's visit to campaign in Assam for the Assembly polls. In a statment issued to media, the outfit's publicity wing leader Arunodoy Dohotia said prime minister has gone back to what he promised earlier and that he failed did not discuss Assam sovereignty to end the deace old confrontation.
Dr Singh is scheduled to visit Assam on Monday four days after Chief MInister Tarun Gogoi arrived in Guwahati after a brief illness.
