Nagaon Lioness to organise Baby show
The children of Nagaon locality soon going to offer their mother a proud moment with ‘Baby Show cum competition’ which is surely give them chance to prove themselves feeling of complete woman. The show is planned in two age group namely ‘A’ for children between 6 months-2 years and ‘B’ for 2-5 years age group. The idea of such an event is brain child of ‘Lioness Club of Nagaon Greater’, Nagaon.
On coming March 21 the show will begin at 10:30 AM in campus of Greater Lion’s Service Centre, Opp Assam Oil petrol pump , Khutikhatia at Haibargaon.

The people of Nagaon recently witnessed a cultural evening on Sunday, July 19, which is purely an extravaganza offering mix of song, music, dance and play i.e; a complete cultural show encashing all form of arts in one. The evening was dedicated to Bangla poet Rabindra Nath Tagore and Assamia literature icon Bishnu Prasad Rabha on the occasion of their birth anniversaries. The evening was held in Nagaon Bangali Sammelani Audotarium to its full capacity located in the main city area of town M G Road. Most of the roads connecting Nagaon with Jagi Road, Dimapur, Tezpur are in such a dire state that travelling through these are becoming to be real nightmare for citizens. The condition of NH, SH as well as inner roads in the city is dipplated so much that two-wheeler riders are mostly who are suffering injury on account of it. The state of road in front of Sadar Thana can be eye-opener for all of us as police-men inspects vehilce in front of big pocket-holed patches in front of police station itself. But, they seldom do anything besides regular routine cheking of vehicles,because untill the road causes an accident, they are not responsible!!! On the other hand repairing of roads...
