Explosives recovered by army
The 6th Rajput Regiment of the Indian Army deployed under Red Horns Division today recovered huge stock of explosives from Shilbharal village under Kamalpur PS in Kamrup district. The troops of Red Horns Division recoverd these explosives from the house of one Mansur Ali acting on specific information. Army recovered 170 nos. of Detenators, 67 nos. of electronic detenators, 50 mtrs. of Cordtex, &0 kgs of Amonium Nitrate and 15 kgs of other explosives from his house. The main accused Mansur Ali managed to escape. Army has suspected Mansur Ali as explosive suplier for various militant groups.

Baihata Chariali Police today apprehended two NDFB cadre from Baihata Chariali. Police has recovered one 9mm Pistol and 7 live rounds from their possession. Names of both the ultras are yet to be disclosed.
The troops of Red Horns of Division of the Indian Army deployed at Changsari under Kamalpur PS in Kamrup district has recovered today 70 Kgs of explosives from Changsari. Acting on specific information army recovered the said explosives. One person has been apprehended in this regard but army has not disclosed the name of the person.

One student namely Samnur Ali (12) was killed in a road mishap took place today at NH 31 at Kamalpur in Kamrup district of Assam at around 9-45am. According to the police sources Samnur Ali, a student of Kamalpur MV school got severe injury when he was hit by a truck No. WB -41/ 3109 on the way to his school. He breathed his last on the way to GMCH. The truck was seized from Rangia by Kamalpur Police.
Kamrup Police today apprehended one ULFA cadre namely Mintu Kalita (22) from Bamundi under Sualkuchi PS under Kamrup district of Assam. Police has recovered some documents pertaining to ULFA. Mintu was involved with many extortion activities. He is a member of 709 battalion of ULFA.
An ULFA militant namely Ritul Sarma (25) was apprehended today at Haripur village under Kamalpur PS of Kamrup district by Kamrup Police, Troops of Red Horns Division of the Indian Army and CRPF.The militant is under the custody of Kamalpur Police station.

It is to be noted that the name of coke industry comes under high air polluting industries of the world. Coke industries are mainly engaged in purifying coal. But in the process of purifying coal air becomes polluted. Carbon Monoxide and many other toxic gases are left from these industries. According to a survey the whole environment has become polluted in the district . Water and paddy fields have also been affected by the pollution of these coke industries besides heavy air pollution. According to police sources a police team led by Swapnanil Deka,APS, ASP Kamrup launched a search operation acting on specific information and captured the militant.
