Assam petrol pumps go dry

Assam also feels the heat of the statewide strike by the oil PSU officers as the petrol pumps across the state are running dry from early in the morning on Friday. Most of the petrol pumps are are remaining closed due to non availability of petrol. The scene is palpable in the north eastern city of Guwahati where vehicles are lining up in front of a few petrol pumps. But of no avail. Talking toAssam Times, the petrol pump owners said everything depends on the oil officers strike which is entering on its third day.

The crisis began on Thursday in some places in upper and central Assam districts where the vehicles have stopped moving on the roads due to scarcity of petrol. On the other hand, this had left an adverse impact on the common people as there a grim dearth of LPG cylinders.

According to information received from New Delhi, the striking leaders are holding yet another talk with petroleum minister Murli Deora on Friday as it remained inconclusive in Thursday.

While country is facing extreme threats from another angle, its sad that the money greedy oil mafia oficers are heding for their more luxury. How much they do want??Why they are least bothered about the nation and people- how we are suffering? Why no law on them. With they all be hanged in the same single rope from Quotub Minar at Delhi. It should happen.Their children even dnt know how to walk. All only fly till the toilet. They dnt live in hostel-its only flat!!And their future-Dust bins!!They learn nothing.Hope its time for we Indians to pull them out in open to realise our life due to their comfort.Let them go to hell. How much they do wanted??What for??How much tax do they pay???
