Charaideo District Excels in Khelo India Women’s Wushu Championship

Athletes from Charaideo district put up an impressive performance at the ASMITA Khelo India Women’s Wushu Championship held at Dimow Higher Secondary School on Sunday. The championship was organised by the Sivasagar District Wushu Association.

In the Taolu (Chanquan Group B) event, Chayamoni Baruah and Aastha Borgohain, both trained at the Ghilaguri Wushu Club, secured a silver medal for the district.

Charaideo’s dominance was also reflected in the Sanda category, where its athletes won a total of ten medals, including two gold, five silver and three bronze.

The Ghilaguri Wushu Club has congratulated the medal winners for their achievement and contribution in bringing laurels to the district.
