BJP MLA to ' retire' from party

Guwahati: BJP MLA from Hojai Shiladitya Dev will quit the ruling party on Tuesday alleging utter in discipline inside the party.

Dev told media on Sunday that utter in discipline would put the party in dire straits in the future.

"On a number of occasions, I brought many things to the notice of the party leadership. But of no avail. I feel it's better to take retirement from the party, " said Dec.

Without naming anybody he said that as of now the party has too many leaders which is why many dedicated leaders have gone nowhere.

Dev said that he has already sent a message of his decision to the state party president Ranjit Das and that he won't join any party after retirement.

A couple of weeks back Deb talked of a senior party leader who has been misleading the leadership and who was corrupt.
