ABSU wants better administration in BTC

KOKRAJHAR: A two-member delegation team of the All Bodo Students Union(ABSU) met the Administrator of BTC Rajesh Prasad and submitted a memorandum to urge for making enable better administration, speedy development, and equal justice up to grass-roots level during the ongoing Governor's Rule in the council. The delegation team was led by students union president Dipen Boro.

Addressing a Press Conference at Bodofa House in Kokrajhar today, ABSU president Dipen Boro that the students union wants good governance in the region. He said that ABSU and people of the BTR region welcome you Ior taking the charge of Administrator, BTC during this "Governor Rule" on behalf of his Excellency the Governor of Assam amidst the nationwide lockdown due to COVID-19 and the scheduled general BTC elections 2020 which has been deferred due to Coronavirus.

The common masses of the BTC region are peace-loving people and they have been appealing for better administration, speedy development and equal justice for all since the signing of the historic BTR Accord, which was recently signed on 27th January last in the presence of the Union Home Minister Amit Shahji and the government of Assam and the Bodo movement groups.

The students union has emphasized good governance in BTC area for the interest of delivering better administration in the territorial region during ongoing Governor

Rule and to fight with the outbreak of pandemic COVID-I9 and its necessary measures, the students union appeals to make visit each and every districts and sub-divisions of the BTAD as soon as possible and to formulate action pian to meet for better grassroots level administration and development that the common people can be accessible for better governance system in implementing all government schemes and programs in the days to come.

The students union urge upon BTC administrator to take prompt necessary steps in running smooth administration and speedy development in the BTR region until Governor Rule is in force and COVID-19 outbreak is at standstill.

He has urged the administration to make a visit in each subdivision and districts of the council to take stock about good administrative in the coming days.

He also urged the administrator of the BTC to formulate an action plan towards healthy administration.

He urged all sections of the citizens to maintain strict social distancing amongst society.
