Union Home Minister Amit Shah reportedly, has said today that Assam will not be brought under the purview of the Inner Line Permit system .
As per reports the Home Minister told a delegation from Meghalya that the Centre has no plan to bring Assam under the ILP system.
A few days ago the high level commitee constituted by the Centre to suggest ways to implement the Clause6 of the Assam Accord has submitted its report to chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal.
