Pro-talks ULFA leader Jiten Dutta, who played a role in spearheading anti-Citizenship Amendment Act protest in the state, was released from judicial custody on Sunday.
Dutta was arrested on December 12 by the Tinsukia police on charges of inciting the masses to stage protest against the controversial Act.
Later, he was remanded to judical custody by a court in Tinsukia. Since then he was lodged in the Tinsukia central jail.
On Saturday the pro-talks ULFA leader was granted bail by a court. As per the court's direction he was released.
