Akademy award to Rituraj Basumatary

Kokrajhar: Noted writer Rituraj Basumatary has been named for the Sahitya Akademy award for Bodo language which was declared today by Sahitya Akademy in New Delhi

Basumatary has been named for his creativity of short story 'Dwngse Lama ' in Bodo language. 

Sananta Tanthi,has been named for akademy award for his 'Kaliloi Dintu Amar Hobo ' book.

Tanthi is well known for his literary creativity.

Basumatary is hailed from Langhin Tinali of Karbi Anglong district. He is an active member of the Bodo Sahitya Sabha. He was also former editor of The Bodo, a mouth piece of the Bodo Sahitya Sabha

General Secretary of Bodo Sahitya Sabha Prasanta Boro has extended congratulation to Basumatary for his award winning and wishes a healthy more literary creations in coming days.
