DIMAPUR: A political party worker died and several others sustained serious injury in an orgy of poll violence in Nagaland where on the polling day. The first incident took place at 12 noon where a political party worker died and two others sustained serious injury as some NPF and NDPP activists clashed amid polling in Nagaland on Tuesday.
The clash which is said to be an incident of shoot out took place at 12 noon took place at Akuluto AC 31 constituency in Zunheboto district. The clash took place closed to a voting booth where one dead and two others injured who have been rushed to the hospital. Reports of poll related violence are pouring in Mokokchung district where several voters and political party activists are said to have injured.
