8 held in Gossaigaon murder case

Kokrajhar,Feb 23: The  Kokrajhar police have arrested eight person five days after they allegedly killed Sukur Ali of Joyma village in Gossaigaon.
Acting on a complaint lodged in Gossaigaon in this connection on February 19, the police registered the case bearing  No. 62/2018 U/S 120(B0/302/201?34 IPC and investigated into it.

 Finally till Friday, the police have nabbed eight persons who are identified as Rohis Ali,Roshnai Ali,Rofik Ali,Mohurudin Bepari,Abu Salam,Ukiluddin Sheik,Ikruamul Haque and Abdul Rahman,who are hailed from Kadamguri village under Gossaigaon PS.
During the investigation,Rohis Ali,who is believed to be prime accused, confessed that he along with his brothers and one his relatives hatched the conspiracy to kill Sukur as he suspected that Sukur Ali was the main culprit who killed his son Nazir Ali two-years backj(ref. Gossaigaon PS case no.537/2015 U/S-364(A)/302/34 IPC) and to revenge the killing of his son, he hired one Ukiluddin Sheik for 60,000 with the help of Abu Salam and per their plan,both Ukiluddin Sheik and Abu Salam made frequent contcats and also gradually built up a friendly relationhsip with the victim Sukur.
On the February 19 night,Ukiluddin Sheik invited victim Sukur over phone to Joyma at about 9.30 pm citing some reasons where he was muredred by hitting on his head with iron rod on his different parts of body and thereafter tied both his hands and legs with iron wire and concealed the dead body under bamboo groove.
