AGARTALA: More than ten people sustained injury when two group of political activists clashed with each other in Tripura on Wednesday.
The clash took place in Matabari area in the afternoon when two parties took out a simultaneous procession in support of their local poll candidate.
All of a sudden, a section of the processionists turned violent and had an altercation provoking each other. Then the mild tussle broke into a clash where at least 15 people from both the groups sustained injury.
The seriously injured processionists have been undergoing treatment in the hospital.
