ITANAGAR: Amid a massive security arrangement in the run up to the Republic Day, unidentified rebels exploded a powerful bomb targetting an army troop on Wednesday.
The incident took place near Namsai where the rebels who were believed to have been hiding in the roadside lobbed a powerful IED at an army troop who were moving on the vital road.
Top ranked police and civil officers have reached the spot and a massive operation is on to nab the rebels. Details awaited.
