GUWAHATI: The United Liberation Front of Asom(I) has urged the various organizations not to invite the Delhi based political leaders and bureaucrats to lecture them on Assam and its history. The appeal came out in a statement to the media a day after GK Pillai called the proscribed rebel outfit and its military head Paresh Baruah outdated. The outfit has reiterated its commitment to carry out the armed struggle for an independent Assam. ULFA(I) called the former Union home secretary's statement childish and disgusting who does not know the history of Assam and its people. They said ULFA(I) needs no longer any certificate from any Delhi-based political leaders and bureaucrats.
