Release Akhil Gogoi or let us spill to road

DUDHNOI: KMSS leaders and workers across the state are in a mood to intensify the agitation to ensure Akhil Gogoi' immediate release. The top leaders of the peasant body have been constantly hunkering down to finetune strategies to take on the BJP-led government who have allegedly been trying to gag the voice of protest. The leaders, mostly have been camping in Dudhnoi since the police have shifted the adviser to the Goalpara district headquarters from Dibrugarh after the Gauhati High Court set aside his arrest under the National Security Act. The government feels the heat of his arrests since social media is flooded with comments against the BJP-led government."We are waiting for Tuesday since the court is hearing the bail petition. If the Government side repeats any biased attempt to keep Gogoi inside the jail we wont remain idle," said a KMSS leader.  He said,"I dont understand why only Akhil Gogoi is put behind the bars. Why the Sonowal Government is so scared of this leader. Fascist indeed. Voice of protest is gaged." Hundreds of KMSS leaders and activists thronged the court premises in Dudhnoi on Sunday as police brought Ahil Gogoi to be produced before it which sent the adviser to 14 days judicial custody.
