Kokrajhar eases traffic snarl


Kokrajhar: Traffic snarl is going to a thing of the past in Kokrajhar. The administration in the BTAD headquarter town has set up a parking zone to ease the traffic flow. Now there is a separate parking zones for bike, car under the Municipal Board. Jwhwlao, an NGO is running the parking zone. Two-wheelers will have to pay Rs. 5 per two hour and four wheeler will pay Rs. 10 per two hour while parking at the parking zones while no parking zone has been levied in the town that indicate 50 metres along the road. Violation lead for fine  Rs.500 under KTP under section(u/s)179(1) MV Act.

Milon Daimary, social activist cut the ribbon to inaugurate the parking zone along the RNB Road in the presence of public gathering. Citizens in Kokrajhar town expect good traffic management through parking zone creation and hailed the initiative taken under KMB to maintain traffic control.
