Why failing to rescue Arunav?

MARGHERITA:Over 80 hours have passed since suspected ULFA-I rebels have kidnapped Arunav Phukan. The son of the established businessman has been remaining traceless even after an intensive combing operation by army, police and para military forces.

Asom Chatra Mukti Sangram Damuty, the student with of KMSS strongly criticised the government for failing to ensure safe release of Arunav whom thr rebels kidnapped from Khandubasti area along the Assam-Arunachal Pradesh border on Friday.

The organization on Monday submitted a memorandum before Margherita SDO(Civil) demanding steps to safe rescue of Arunav.

Talking to Assam Times, CMSS general secretary in Tinsukia Papu Dutta said Sarbananda Sonowal, chief minister who also holds the home portfolio has been a failure even after he promised to save Assamese as a nation apart from land and mass.
