No bail for ACS-APS officers in jail

GUWAHATI: The Gauhati High Court declined bail to 19 civil and police officers who were arrested in connection with the APSC scam.

A High Court bench which reserved the ruling last week on Monday cleared the ruling.

The same bench rejected the anticipatory bail petition moved by Nishamoni Deka who has been absconding since the police launched the massive crackdown against the accused ACS, APS officers.

She moved the Supreme Court seeking anticipatory bail which rejected it and she then moved the High Court.
