GB FC lift martyrs gold cup

Gabinda Basumatary (GB) FC, Zaraguri won the Bodoland martyrs gold cup football championship -2017 defeating NFR, Maligaon by 1-0 goal in the final match today being held at KDSA stadium ground in Kokrajhar.

For GB FC,  C Gnene scored lone goal in the 70th minutes of the second half against NFR and won the championship.

C Gnene of GB FC was adjusted best player. He was awarded trophy and cash Rs. 5000.Gnene is hailed from Nigeria and has been playing for GB FC few years back.

Hagrama Mohilary, BTC chief graced as chief on the prize distribution and handed over a trophy and cheque of Rs. one lakh to the championship team.

 Doneswar Goyary, BTC executive member gave away trophy and cheque of Rs. Fifty thousand to runners up team.

Among others, Hemendra Nath Brahma, president AFA, Anurag Agarwal, IGP BTAD, Rajib Brahma, BYE executive member wereng prominent attendees on the occasion.
