Two more ACS officers likely to surrender

Two more ACS officers wanted in the APSC scam are believed to have been preparing to surrender before police four days after they went underground.

According to sources, Mushalpur Circle Officer Rajarshi Sen Deka and his West Nalbari Nishamoni Deka are likely to surrender before the police at any moment to be arrested by the special operation unit of Dibrugarh unit set up to probe the job for cash scam where the investigators have already arrested 21 officers.

Rajarshi Sen Deka, the son of former Congress minister Nilomoni Sen Deka managed to escape moments before the police launched the massive crackdown five days back. Another circle officer in Golaghat Rumi Saikia is also absconding forcing the police to intensify the search operation.

On the other hand, the investigators are believed to have extracted some stunning revelations on the nefarious scam as they interrogated the accused officers in the police custody.
