Rapist father held in Kokrajhar

The Kokrajhar police have arrested a person for allegedly raping his daughter.

The incident took place at Bhoomki part 1 under Salakati police outpost in the BTAD district where identified as Amjad Ali allegedly raped his 11 years old daughter recently.

He was arrested in connection with Kokrajhar P. S. Case No. 589/17 U/S 4 of POCSO Act on the basis of FIR lodged by his wife.

Investigation is on into the incident, said a senior police officer.
