Vishwakarma puja festivity

Vishwakarma puja festivity grips Assam on Sunday across the state where the god of construction is being worshipped with much religious fervour.

Factories and industries, technical institutes and laboratories wore a festive look with the workers and employees offered puja to the god.

Cultural functions along with quiz, drawing, dance and music competitions are being lined up towards the afternoon to mark thr occasion.

Assam Times Foundation observed the Viswakatma puja with traditional fervour at its Guwahati office where the employees offered puja to the god of construction.
