Amid growing speculations of cabinet reshuffle, AGP leader Keshav Mahanta said his party should have more berth in the BJP-led coalition government.
Talking to reporters in the sidelines of a function inKokrajhar on Wednesday, Mahanta who is AGP executive president said the expansion is the prerogative of the Chief Minister and that AGP and BPF have been expecting more ministerial berths.
Mahanta heaped praised on the students as he attended the freshmen social function at the Science College, Kokrajhar apart from laying the foundation stone of 'sophisticated analytical instrumentation facility' at Science College.
He said the state is getting Biotech park on September 19 at Amingaon in Guwahati where the state government has earmarked Rs 110 core for the project.
Rajya Sabha MP Biswajit Daimary has praised the announcement of a virtual class room in the college and hoped the class room will promote the educational situation in the state.

Degree certificates were conferred upon graduates and PhD holders from the academic years 2021-22, 2022-23, and 2023-24. The ceremonial event was graced by the Chancellor of the university and Governor of Assam, Lakshman Prasad Acharya, who personally awarded certificates to the qualified students.
